Victoria: Dyslexia doesn’t run in my family – it gallops

-

VICTORIA Beckham has admitted she is a ‘ self- diagnosed dyslexic’ and hinted her children also had the learning difficulty, which can cause problems with reading, writing and spelling.

Mrs Beckham, pictured, said none of her four children was especially academic, adding that ‘dyslexia doesn’t run in our family, it gallops’.

Brooklyn, 20, is an aspiring photographer, Romeo, 16, wants to be a tennis player, Cruz, 14, is a singer and dancer while Harper, seven, is a ‘real little tomboy’.

The 44-year-old former Spice Girl told the Financial Times that her sons all felt pressure to follow in the footsteps of their footballing father David Beckham.

‘All three boys used to have contracts with Arsenal,’ she said. ‘Brooklyn was the first to say he didn’t want to play any more. And then Romeo decided he didn’t want to do it either. I remember Romeo sitting in the bath getting really upset saying, “I don’t want to let Daddy down”.’
