Keep it private, J-Lo

FORMER baseball star Alex Rodriguez went down on bended knee at sunset on a beach in the Bahamas and proposed to singer Jennifer Lopez with a £ 1.4 million diamond ring.

She gasped and said ‘Yes!’ before sharing the intimate images online with her fans.

A few days later, Alex was photographed with a black eye, after one of his former team-mates claimed that the future Mr J-Lo had been having a long-term affair with his ex-wife.

Confused? I am, but not half as bewildered as I am by how all of us saw pictures of this mega-rich couple’s private moment on a private beach — complete with diamond ring — in the first place.

Maybe that’s the way the mega- stars do it these days — a secret moment with just him, her, their private photographer . . . and the rest of the world.

Bodes well, doesn’t it?
