Why bend truth, Kate?

KATE WINSLET stars in a new movie playing the little- known dinosaur fossil hunter Mary Anning, whom she portrays as a lesbian.

This despite Anning’s descendants insisting there is no evidence whatsoever to back this up.

But, hey, there’s no chance of an Oscar these days unless the heroine is an overweight, overachiever who struggled with her sexuality.

It worked for Olivia Colman, who fatuously played an ageing lesbian in that incomprehensible film The Favourite.
