DEVASTATED pop star Louis Tomlinson pulled out of a Comic Relief performance last night following the sudden death of his 18-year-old sister Felicite.

The One Direction singer, 27, had been due to perform a new single written about his late mother Johannah Deakin, who died from leukaemia in 2016 aged just 43.

His sister, an aspiring fashion designer and Instagram star, died of a suspected cardiac arrest in her fourth floor flat in Earl’s Court, west London, on Wednesday lunchtime. Two ambulance crews attended the scene but attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful. Police are treating her death as unexplained as inquiries continue.

Neighbours said they had been questioned by officers about whether the teenager had been hosting parties or heard crying on the day she died. It is understood the authorities did not find any drugs at the address.

Her boyfriend, musician Lukey Storey, last night paid tribute to her as his ‘pain twin’. In an Instagram post, which he later deleted, he wrote: ‘There aren’t words for how painful this is. I’m writing in a state of shock. She was one of the kindest, sweetest, purist [sic] people I’d ever met.’ He said he wished they had ‘spent more time together sober’, adding they had been ‘too busy running away from our demons’.

Miss Tomlinson often shared updates with her 1.4million Instagram followers. In January, she posted a photo of a row of tattoos on her arm, depicting the initials of her six siblings. Her last post was six days ago.

Her brother had been due to perform new single Two of Us live on the BBC’s Comic Relief broadcast last night. The song, a tribute to their mother, contains the lyrics: ‘You’ll never know how much I miss you. The day that they took you, I wish it was me instead.’ Miss Tomlinson said she cried when she first heard it, adding: ‘I loved the song – it filled me with hope.’
