Nose ‘bitten off’ in mid-flight fight
A MID-AIR fight between two Ryanair passengers ended with a man’s nose being ‘bitten off’, it has been claimed.
The unnamed holidaymaker was on the 6.10am Glasgow Prestwick to Tenerife South flight yesterday when the violence broke out. Shocking footage shows witnesses screaming as a man emerges from the brawl coated in blood.
The 30-second recording, taken by a fellow passenger, shows two men grappling in the aisle halfway down the plane. Someone can be heard shouting: ‘Boys, stop this. Why are you just sat watching?’ Cabin crew and other passengers eventually drag the pair off each other.
A source told the Scottish Sun: ‘There were numerous occasions of drunk and disorderly behaviour leading to a man having his nose bitten off.’ Ryanair said the crew requested police assistance after landing in Tenerife.
