NORTHAMPTON fly-half James Grayson was named man of the match as Saints lifted the inaugural Premiership rugby Cup thanks to a 23-9 victory over Saracens in yesterday’s final at Franklin’s Gardens. It was the club’s first win against their top-flight rivals in three years and a first piece of silverware for five years.

ITALIAN golfer Guido Migliozzi claimed his maiden European Tour title after shooting a twounder-par final round 69 at the Kenya Open. The 22-year-old finished on 16 under par to win by one stroke from Spain’s Adri Arnaus and South African pair Justin Harding and Louis De Jager.
