For Emily Atack’s latest role is as Seventies pop icon Debbie Harry. Miss Atack, 29, plays the Blondie singer in a new series of the Sky Arts comedy show Urban Myths, which examines episodes from showbusiness folklore.
The actress, best known for playing Charlotte Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners, shared an image of herself as Miss Harry on her Instagram page.
Her pose, in a white dress, recreates a record sleeve similar to the cover for Blondie’s famous 1978 album Parallel Lines, which featured hits such as Picture This, Sunday Girl and Heart Of Glass.
She is not a main character in the episode of Urban Myths. It centres on the singer Grace Jones.
