the tragic deaths of three young people linked to Love Island, the time has surely come to put an end to the tawdry reality show, which promotes a hollow, something-for-nothing culture and offers contestants a taste of stardom — before abandoning them to Z-list obscurity. Not least because if we carry on watching, each of us is partly complicit in their deaths.
