TOM ROB SMITH’S family saga may look great and it may feature a compelling central performance from Richard Gere, but it has been a plodding affair so far. Don’t give up, though, as it slowly starts to hit its stride in episode three as Caden (Billy Howle) enters a rehabilitation unit, and Max (Gere) has to make a decision about his son’s future.
