Haunting similarity … Margot as tragic Tate

-

WITH sleek blonde hair and a sultry gaze, she’s every bit as bewitching as the original ’60s cover girl. This is Margot Robbie as tragic Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Dressed in a mini-skirt and poloneck jumper, the Australian actress, 28, certainly looks the part as she pouts in front of the legendary Fox Village Theatre in the film’s first poster, revealed this week.

Miss Robbie is the latest in a string of stars, including Kate Bosworth, to take on the role of Miss Tate – who was murdered in her Hollywood home in 1969 by followers of cult leader Charles Manson.

She stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt – who play fictional characters living next door to Miss Tate.

Tarantino’s latest film is set to be released this summer – marking the 50th anniversary of the murder. Actress Miss Tate, 26, who was married to film director Roman Polanski, was eight and a half months pregnant when she was killed along with four others.
