Party dubbed ‘institutionally anti-Semitic’
THE Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn is institutionally antiSemitic, according to a study.
It found the leadership has failed to prevent the party hosting hatred of Jews or to weed out a deep-rooted culture of anti-Semitism denial.
Interference by the leadership in disciplinary cases also shows Labour has failed to tackle its problem with racial hatred against Jews, the study said.
It was conducted by Professor Alan Johnson, senior fellow at the British Israel Communications and Research Centre, who looked at 130 examples of anti-Jew hatred.
He urged Mr Corbyn to ‘drive the haters out of the party’.
A Labour spokesman said: ‘We completely reject claims of institutional anti-Semitism.’
