Good Energy to focus on cars

A GREEN energy firm run by a woman dubbed ‘one of the UK’s wealthiest hippies’ is turning its attention to business customers and owners of electric cars.

Good Energy said it would start providing more services to help drivers find chargers after its acquisition of Zap- Map earlier this month. The firm also said last year’s rise in sales from £104.5m to £116.9m had been partly driven by a growing demand for clean energy from businesses. Chief executive Juliet Davenport, 51, said the group was ‘well placed to succeed’ despite turmoil in the energy market.
