Elephant in the room: Are Dumbo duo dating?
THEY are rumoured to be in a relationship. But the director of Dumbo and his leading lady were keeping mum last night. Eva Green, 8, walked the red carpet alone at the London premiere of the live action remake of Disney’s classic 1941 cartoon. Director Tim Burton, 60, arrived separately with his children, Billy, 15, and Nell, 11, by former partner Helena Bonham Carter. Miss Green, who plays trapeze artist Colette Marchant, wore a striking emerald gown. She said that while she is inspired by Burton – she has appeared in two of his previous films – she does not feel like his muse.
‘He has loads of muses, male and female,’ Miss Green added.
Other stars on the red carpet included Danny DeVito, who plays the ringmaster and owner of the struggling circus, and Thandie Newton, 46, who was joined by her daughter Nico, 14.
