Sky host throws fit over mobile

HURLING your teenager’s phone off a balcony is something many parents will have wanted to do.

The difference is, broadcaster Colin Brazier really did it. The Sky News presenter, pictured, revealed he carried out the drastic measure after becoming enraged at the amount of time that one of his five daughters was spending on Instagram.

Mr Brazier, 50, a father of six, posted a picture of the view from his balcony on Twitter, writing: ‘Somewhere in the field is my teenage daughter’s recently hurled smartphone. I’m sure a more constructive dialogue was possible, but sometimes following up on a parental threat simply has its own immutable logic.’

It comes after Location, Location, Location presenter Kirstie Allsopp sparked controversy last year after revealing she had smashed her two sons’ iPads when they broke her rules on screen time.
