Sharp words
WHAT a stupid waste of £100 million aimed at tackling knife crime. Knives are not the problem; it’s the lack of punishment for carrying them.
The crisis could be resolved almost overnight, and hundreds of lives saved, if an appropriate punishment were used, instead of attempts at soft rehabilitation.
Lily-livered do-gooders are unable to see that if you remove punishment from society, crime will thrive. Cushy jail is not the answer.
If you take away the knives, then hammers, screwdrivers and chisels will be used instead in these senseless attacks. And what will £100 million have achieved? Nothing.
