6 stabbed in 12 hours of violence
WILD West Britain endured another weekend of knife-fuelled bloodshed as six people were stabbed in London in less than 12 hours.
Before the shopkeeper was stabbed to death in Pinner yesterday morning, other violent incidents included:
■ At 8.30pm on Saturday, a man in his 20s was stabbed near a McDonald’s in Ilford, north-east London.
■ Two hours later, two 18-year-olds and a third man were attacked in Westminster. Two of the group were stabbed and the third sustained a head injury.
■ At 11.50pm, a 13-year-old boy was stabbed in Brixton, south London. Police said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
■ In the early hours of yesterday, a man in his 40s was left fighting for his life after being stabbed in Hackney, east London. No arrests had been made last night.
