HOW YOU CAN HELP SAVE THE TIGER

-

WWF is determined to help double the number of wild tigers from their low level in 2010 to at least 6,000 by 2022 — the next Chinese Year of the Tiger — and by adopting a tiger you can directly help.

When you donate, your money goes to help the tigers of the Khata Corridor, which connects the protected areas of the Bardia National Park in Nepal with the Katerniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary in India. There are between five and ten tigers here, a mix of males and females, including two cubs and a magnificent male called Dalla.

Donations help to protect and manage habitats and connect fragmented areas so tigers can move freely between them. They will also help pay for camera traps, one of the best ways of monitoring individual tiger movements. SEE PANEL OPPOSITE FOR DETAILS
