Brexit boon

THIS country has a long history of success in adversity. We have shown imagination, innovation and social progress on every front.

So why, when we have fantastic news on employment and the economy, do politicians tell us that No-Deal Brexit will be a disaster?

We voted for Brexit knowing there would be teething problems involved in reconfiguring our position as we returned to full national democracy. We must not be held back by the short-term fears that so often ruin even the best projects.

The scaremongers will be proved wrong again and their antics will only strengthen our will to leave the eu and succeed. They will then believe in their own country.

let’s stop the posturing and dithering, get on with wiping the slate clean and face a fresh horizon after Brexit. What an opportunity for us to progress.
