Eddie: Lions job is the last thing I want

EDDIE JONES has emphatically ruled out coaching the Lions in 2021, while taking a swipe at Warren Gatland. When asked if he would consider coaching the British and Irish touring team in South Africa by Australian newspaper

I’d rather coach the Queensland Sheffield Shield (cricket) team.’ Gatland has coached the last two tours, to Australia in 2013 and New Zealand in 2017. But Jones did not rule out a return to the Wallabies, who he coached from 2001 to 2005. ‘I don’t think I would ever say never, but it’s not something I have thought about,’ he added.
