Toto Energy refund wait

TOTO Energy customers say that they have been waiting nearly a year for refunds after switching to a new supplier.

One told Money Mail they had to wait four months for a £212 credit refund. Another said they waited more than 28 days for £382 and struggled to get through on the phone.

On Twitter, one said they were waiting for a £593 refund after switching away and getting a final bill last April.

Toto received just a 2.2-star customer service rating in Citizens Advice’s most recent customer service table.

A Toto spokesman says all customers have now been refunded, adding: ‘ We’re making improvements across the business to give our customers a better experience and this includes refunds.’
