EDMUND LOSES AFTER NOISY FAN INTERRUPTS

KYLE EDMUND’S hopes of an upset at the Miami Open came to an unhappy end when he was left fuming by a rowdy spectator as his match against John Isner reached its climax. The British No 1 was to go down 7-6, 7-6 and stopped playing mid-rally when someone called out at 3-5 in the second tiebreak. Edmund was furious that umpire Carlo Bernardes declined to replay the point.
