Bercow, who has been dogged by accusations of bullying — which he has denied — has disclosed in the register of Members’ Financial Interests that he accepted £680 worth of football tickets from Warren. In February, he was handed two tickets worth a total of £340; and earlier this month he was given another pair of the same value. They come on top of more than £70,000 of freebies that Bercow has enjoyed since starting the job in 2009. The perks, including VIP Wimbledon tickets, are in addition to his £153,145 salary and grace-and-favour home in Westminster. Order!
