NETFLIX has teamed up with WWF to create new series Our Planet, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, which aims to inspire millions of people globally to act together to fix the home we all share. Starting on April 5, the eight-parter will reveal how we can protect the Earth for everyone’s benefit. Sir David told the Mail’s Weekend magazine: ‘The overt goal is to spread understanding and awareness of the way the planet works, so people realise what they do matters. It’s about the need to protect the world’s interlocking web of habitats, and maybe as a consequence of this series, people will understand that better.’ The programmes will also feature some of the most endangered species.
