Now we face a £5,000 bill
BARRAI Omuireagain is facing a £5,000 bill for new flights after Wow’s sudden demise left him in the lurch yesterday.
He was due to fly from Detroit to Ireland with wife Katie, son Chase, 16, and daughter Maeve, six, on Wednesday. He said: ‘It was delayed, then it was delayed every hour, and finally at 11pm I asked, “What happens if the company goes bust?” She said it wouldn’t happen and gave us a pizza… next thing, the PA said the flight was cancelled.’
Mr Omuireagain, a Dubliner who lives in the US and was due to visit family in Ireland, told the BBC they spent the night in a hotel and woke to find Wow had folded.
