HAVING made an album paying homage to one musical mentor, Townes Van Zandt, the American singer turns his attention to another — Texan folk troubadour Guy Clark. With pedal steel, fiddle and a cameo from Emmylou Harris, it’s a vivid tribute to one of the godfathers of Americana, who died in 2016. Blending acoustic tunes and country-rockers, Earle and his band do justice to some fine songs.
