SEASON TICKET RENEWAL CRISIS AS BANK FOLDS

SEASON ticket sales are in turmoil after the bank which allows fans to buy seats on credit then pay it back in instalments went bust. Zebra Finance is used by thousands of fans and clubs, including Chelsea, Leeds United and Celtic, but the source of their funding, Raphaels Bank, ceased all lending yesterday. In an internal letter, Zebra chief Peter Fletcher said: ‘The decision to cease funding has been taken by Raphaels and not Zebra.’
