OLE IS THE RIGHT MAN FOR UNITED
IT WAS disappointing to hear Louis van Gaal say this week that the only difference between Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is that Manchester United’s new manager is winning. He has done so much more than that. It is true that United have become tighter at the back but they are taking more risks going forward and scoring more goals. It has been more than simply putting smiles on faces. He has transformed the mood, tapping into the DNA of the Sir Alex Ferguson days to galvanise the club. Solskjaer’s tactics are more than just park the bus and hit teams on the counter. He has shown incredible flexibility to pull off outstanding victories at Arsenal in the FA Cup, Tottenham in the Premier League and Paris Saint-Germain in Europe. With only three players away on international duty, Solskjaer has had time to regroup after two disappointing defeats. I firmly believe that the best players can become good managers. He fully deserves the chance he has been given to build a bright future with United.
