Heavens! Is that Thrones warrior Sophie?
WHEN you’ve grown up in the world of Game Of Thrones and its fire- breathing dragons, posing with unicorns and wearing angel wings might almost feel ordinary.
Certainly star Sophie Turner – who plays flame-haired warrior Sansa Stark – looked at home in this photoshoot for May’s Harper’s Bazaar. The Northamptonborn actress, 23, has played Sansa since the show first hit screens in 2011 and is now gearing up for the final season.
Miss Turner – who reportedly earns £158,000 a week – revealed her co-star Kit Harington, who plays dashing heartthrob Jon Snow, is paid more than her. But she says she doesn’t begrudge him his deal beacause he does so many more ‘crazy’ night shoots.
She described filming the final series as ‘like a death in the family’, adding: ‘I’m losing the character I’ve played so long.’
