Brilliant Bernardo is City’s Silva lining

iF you had asked me in august if manchester City would be in with a shot of the Quadruple despite having Kevin De Bruyne absent for large parts of the season, i would have said no chance. De Bruyne was their most important player last season as they broke all manner of records on their way to the most emphatic Premier league title win. The main reason they have hardly missed him is because of the way Bernardo silva has stepped up. He is the dream player for Pep Guardiola — an intelligent player who can play in any position across the midfield or high and wide with ease. He makes goals, scores them, has bundles of energy and is robust in the tackle to win the ball back. This season, Bernardo has been City’s unsung hero.
