I USED TO . . .

I used to do excellent crochet, My shawls were displayed on posh stands I’d do it again — and I’d love to If it weren’t for the pains in my hands. I used to help Mum picking soft fruit On one of the large local farms, I’d do it again — and I’d love to If it weren’t for the pains in my arms. I used to live life at the double And run everywhere with such ease, I’d do it again — how I’d love to If it weren’t for the pains in my knees. I used to wear shoes of high fashion Resplendent with buckles and bows. I’d wear them again — and I’d love to If it weren’t for the pains in my toes.
