No deal? No disaster!

-

A Doomsday scenario has been predicted by our highest ranking civil servant, Cabinet Secretary Sir Mark Sedwill, regarding the consequences of a No Deal Brexit.

If he has the ability to predict events, then it is odd he did not advise Theresa May that the Irish border issue would be a problem. you would think that an issue of this magnitude would have been resolved before the referendum was called. Robert Parratt, Colchester, Essex. If MRS May is being advised by Sir Mark Sedwill and oliver Robbins, it is no surprise she has made such a mess of Brexit.

Neither appears to believe the British people have the ability to rule

themselves without the EU telling them what to do.

CHRIS SCUTT, Scarborough, N. Yorks. THE article ‘Eurozone rocked by faltering factories’ (Mail) sums up why we should be leaving the EU.

The euro is fast becoming a failed experiment that will require more and more cash to keep it afloat, and keep the EU’s non-elected bureaucrats in luxury.

Getting out of the EU is our only hope of not being dragged down with it.

JOHN PIBWORTH, Newport, Shropshire.
