CHARLEY HULL took last week off to watch her fiance, Impact Fight boxer Ozzie Smith, win the super-middleweight title. Today, the 23-year-old from Kettering sets out on a title quest of her own as the major championship season opens at the ANA Inspiration in California. With three top 10s in the last five years, this is the major where Hull has come close to claiming a breakthrough win. ‘I just love the fact it’s long and a real ball striker’s course,’ she said. ‘It was great watching Ozzie win, and now he’s here watching me. ‘I feel like I’m playing well, and I’m hitting a lot of greens. I just need the putter to warm up.’
