Mum bailed out at till... by Kiwi PM
A STRESSED mother who had forgotten her purse had her supermarket shopping paid for by the woman behind her – New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern.
The kind act was revealed by a Twitter user who wrote: ‘She paid for my friend’s shopping when she had forgotten her purse and had two screaming kids in tow.’
Miss Ardern, 38, who has a baby girl, said she helped the woman ‘because she was a mum’. Last month she won praise for her compassionate response to the Christchurch mosque shootings in which 50 people were killed.
