New mum Lydia is in the pink...

MOTHERHOOD clearly suits Lydia Forte. The 32-year-old daughter of hotelier Sir Rocco Forte glowed as she attended her first society party since giving birth to her baby, John, less than two months ago.

Lydia, who is married to Greek shipping heir Dimitri Chandris, showed off her slim figure in a pink floral dress at the Soho bash.

Hosted by fashion designer Saloni Lodha, it marked the Hindu festival of Holi, celebrating the return of spring and the triumph of good over evil.

Lydia, who tucked into marinated figs among the vibrant floral decorations, describes it as a ‘ beautiful evening of delicious Indian food and classic Saloni hospitality’.
