AS WESTERN anger grew at the weekend against the Sultan of Brunei over his ruling that gay people should be stoned to death, Prince Andrew was entertaining a different Islamic sovereign.

I hear the Duke of York held a lunch party at Buckingham Palace on Saturday for the Sultan of Johor, a state of Malaysia. Although this particular sultan does not advocate rocks being hurled at homosexuals, gay sex is banned in Malaysia.

Indeed, just last September two women were publicly caned after being found guilty of lesbian relations.

‘The subject of gay sex did not come up over lunch,’ claims my man at the Palace.
