a third of patients with trigeminal neuralgia may have post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) because of their condition, according to researchers at the military Guangzhou General Hospital in China. They found 30 per cent of the 103 patients studied had the classic hallmarks of PTSD, including anxiety, depression and drinking or drug use, according to findings in the journal Psychology, Health and Medicine.
