Drugs behind knife crime

WeMBLeY, Harrow, edmonton and Northolt are just some of the recent knife crime locations. How long before it happens in your road?

absent dads, lack of opportunity, the pressures of social media, youth centre closures and poverty are all blamed. But the longer this list grows, the more excuses ineffectual politicians have for doing nothing.

Why don’t they listen to the police, who would tell them most knife crime is drug-related? We seem to have given up the war on drugs.
