But the question he gets asked the most? ‘Oh, it’s far and away what it was like playing in the Masters after dislocating my ankle in the par three,’ he said, smiling. ‘When you see the pictures of me slipping down the hill and the angle my ankle is at, you can understand the fascination. I think I showed I have a pretty high pain threshold.’ If he can muster one of those top 10s on such a taxing, hilly course while clearly less than fully fit, what’s the prodigious hitter going to achieve this time?
