NICKY CAMPBELL, 58. The TV and Radio 5 Live breakfast presenter was adopted as a baby. He says of parents Sheila and Frank: ‘I won the winning ticket in life’s lottery when they adopted me.’ He wrote a 2009 swing album, which included a song ‘about a passionate, adulterous affair I had in my 20s that was going nowhere’. Confessing he’s addicted to wine gums, he said: ‘I’m sure they were invented by an evil genius.’ MAX VON SYDOW, 90. The 6ft 4in Swedish-born film star, famous for playing Ernst Stavro Blofeld in 1983 Bond film Never Say Never Again (right), is one of the few actors to have played both the Devil (Needful Things in 1993) and Jesus (in 1965’s The Greatest Story Ever Told). Of filming the biblical epic in Utah, he said: ‘Many of the people on the set expected me to behave like Jesus all the time... I couldn’t have my wife visit me openly because Jesus was not married, and I couldn’t take a drink.’
