Justice at long last

FINALLY, spineless speedboat killer Jack Shepherd has returned, handcuffed, to Britain to face the music.

The cowardly 31-year- old, whose date Charlotte Brown perished as he drunkenly showed off on the Thames, was extradited from Georgia – where he fled before he could stand trial. After the Mail offered a £25,000 reward, the fugitive was captured – still stubbornly refusing to accept responsibility for the callous crime. Today, belatedly, he will go to prison.

We hope Charlotte’s devastated family can take succour from the fact that justice will, at long last, be seen to be done.
