THE blazer is set to be a key staple for spring but it’s all about getting the right fit for your body shape. The styles here go from smallest to largest based on the shoulder measurements, but there are also key variations in bust length which will make a huge difference to the fit. The narrowest at the shoulder, the Jaeger jacket, also gives the most generous space at the bust, making it the best fit for an hourglass figure. The pale blue Zara jacket also has slim shoulders but is the shortest cut, a good bet for a petite frame. Topshop and M&S offered the longest cuts (71cm and 74cm respectively). If you are broad-shouldered, the H&M blazer is a generous 41cm across, and at 70cm long it won’t ride up over your tummy.
