Forgotten heroes

-

IT’S disgusting that those who acted as interpreters for our Armed Forces in Afghanistan are still in danger and have been left to their fate, a year after being promised asylum.

It should be a priority — or are MPs too busy wresting power for their own self-serving ends?

Surely, Brexit should not be the only item on MPs’ agendas.

C. JONES, Brecon, Powys. THE betrayal of the brave Afghan interpreters is further proof that the Government is losing the plot.

We allow in economic migrants and even give a lift to those who illegally attempt to cross the Channel in small boats, yet make up arbitrary rules to keep out those who have served this country.

Why can’t the Government discern its friends from its potential enemies? We have also seen this in the witchhunt against our troops who served in Northern Ireland and Iraq.
