EMOTIONAL story in the Augusta Chronicle yesterday about a man who had waited a lifetime to visit Amen Corner, after spending 27 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. While behind bars, Valentino Dixon (right), 49, would do pencil drawings of the holes at Augusta. ‘Golf saved my life,’ he told the paper. ‘To see Amen Corner and Tiger Woods up close, I’m overwhelmed.’
