PARED down and mesmerising, this indie drama follows an outbreak of mass hysteria among the female dancers who train at a community sports centre. Events are seen mostly through the eyes of the younger girls — and specifically tomboy boxer Toni (brilliant newcomer Royalty Hightower, pictured).

NOEL CLARKE concludes his trilogy of urban dramas that began with 2006’s Kidulthood. Clarke’s character, Sam, is a father of two and is keeping his head down — but his violent past continues to have consequences.
