Robbie Dunne has been banned for 15 days for his part in hiding the fact he had unwittingly weighed out light for a 2017 race at Chepstow. Dunne won on Ian Williams-trained Rocknrollrambo but stable hand Barry Pearson, who got a month’s racecourse ban for his part, saw that a saddle error meant the jockey was half a pound light, and Dunne put a halfpound weight down his breeches. Meanwhile, jockey Kieran Shoemark, who failed a test for cocaine in November at Kempton, cannot re-apply for a licence until May 29.
