Team members Kat and Guilia first arranged for Colin to return to his hotel when ready, to rest for a few days until doctors deemed him fit to fly.
Then they deployed an Englishspeaking paramedic who flew out to Cyprus to accompany him back to Manchester, where an ambulance team would be waiting to take him home.
