■ COBHAM’S boss has been awarded £1.4m in shares.

David Lockwood, 57, will receive the 1.2m shares if he meets performance targets over the next two years at the defence group.

The shares were worth 114.6p each last night, or around £1.4m in total. Lockwood ( right) got £2.1m in pay last year, including a £690,000 salary and £705,000 bonus.
