TO IMPROVE your flexibility, try this leg extension exercise, says celebrity personal trainer Nadya Fairweather (u-shape.co.uk).
Grab a small hand towel or yoga strap. Lie on your back, left leg extended and relaxed on the floor, bend your right leg and loop the towel under your right foot.
Holding the ends of the towel, extend your right foot in the air.
Hold the stretch for a minute or until you feel yourself relax into it.
Switch legs. Repeat on the left. Include this stretch after your exercise routine on a regular basis when you are still warm as part of your cool down.
