FANTASTIC PRIZES FOR THE BEST SPRING CLEANERS
THE national Great British spring clean, organised by Keep Britain Tidy and backed by the mail, aims to get 500,000 people picking up plastic litter until April 23.
To host an event, join an existing one or simply just pledge your time, go to gbspringclean.org.
Today, we’re also offering you the chance to enter one of two competitions:
The daily mail will be funding a prize of £10,000, and £1,000 for a runner-up, for the individual, small business or charity making the greatest strides in creating sustainable alternatives to plastic, or providing creative solutions for reusing plastic goods.
We also have prizes for three children (under 14) who’ve made the most significant contribution to litter collecting over the past year.
They will win £1,000; a holiday for four at Tom’s Eco Lodge (pictured above) on the isle of wight — either a three-night weekend or four-night mid-week stay in a modulog or dome (subject to availability) — with unlimited access to Tapnell Farm Park (see
tapnell
farmpark. com) during their stay; and a main meal in the on-site restaurant for up to four people ( not including drinks).
Both competitions will be judged by a panel including Tv presenter and keen rambler Julia Bradbury.
