FOLLOWING tales of mishaps (Peterborough), I was reminded of the time I worked for social services. As part of my routine, I would help people to bathe and make breakfast for them. One morning, I arrived at a flat and assisted the resident. Afterwards, I asked to sign her health folder to record what I had done. She said she didn’t have one and had never been visited before, but would love to have me back. Then the penny dropped: I was in the wrong flat. What a laugh my office had, and so did the lovely lady. She had thoroughly enjoyed herself. K. Evans, Sunderland.
